MDC Forms Global Technology Group

US-based marcoms group MDC Partners has formed a new division called the Global Technology Group, to drive company strategy across security, systems design and cloud architecture.

The group comprises more than 50 partner companies including a number of market research, shopper marketing and data and analytics specialists. Its new Global Technology Group, led by Global CIO John Georgatos, has been launched to equip the group with the 'state-of-the-art' IT infrastructure for delivering custom-built solutions across the global portfolio. This includes cloud investments to support extended remote work and connect creative talent and clients; harnessing AI and machine learning to work more collaboratively; new cybersecurity partnerships to mitigate security exposure; expanding and accelerating the move toward entirely wireless real estate infrastructure; and preparing MDC Partners' forthcoming New York corporate campus at One World Trade Center.
