Chicago HQ for Nielsen Global Consumer Business

Nielsen has announced that the headquarters for its Global Consumer Business will be in Chicago, from January 1st, 2021.

The Nielsen Global Consumer Business now employs approximately 30,000 employees in nearly 100 countries around the world. Its Chicago office at 200 W Jackson Blvd is already the company's largest workspace in the US, and the business plans to further invest in and refresh this office, where it currently employs a team of more than 600 people - with plans to add at least 50 more over the next two years.

David Rawlinson (pictured), CEO of the business, comments: 'Nielsen was founded in Chicago, Arthur Nielsen revolutionized consumer measurement and data here, and becoming a separate company is an opportunity to return our headquarters back to our original home. We believe that Chicago is a great place to build upon our technology lead and continue to disrupt the industry'.

City Governor JB Pritzker says he is 'thrilled' to welcome Nielsen's Consumer Business headquarters back to Illinois, 'the place where it all started'.
