Second Date for Antitrust Suit
A new date has been set for trial in the antitrust lawsuit brought by Information Resources, Inc. (IRI) against ACNielsen. An original scheduling order was signed by the Court nearly a year ago, but the date was postponed in January. The new trial date is April 18, 2005.
The lawsuit was filed as long ago as July 1996. The United States District Court for the Southern District of New York signed the original scheduling order on May 21, 2003 [ see www.mrweb.com/cgi-bin/drnofrmr.cgi?ppNum=2346 ] but three months ago vacated it because IRI had not provided 'adequate discovery'.
