Funds for Skills Exchange and Data Firm eSwapp
London, UK based startup eSwapp, which uses machine learning to help client companies get insights into skill demands, and allows their staff to swap skills, has raised £350k in funding from an angel investor.
The firm was co-founded by CEO Uyen Ngo (pictured right), a former marketer at Danone and GlaxoSmithKline, and COO Ghazal Diani (left), formerly at RBS and Goldman Sachs; joined by Chief Customer Officer Andrew Read, previously Director of Sales at Adobe and Head of Sales & Strategy at MediaMelon. Its platform allows colleagues to connect and upgrade each other's skills, meanwhile supplying employers with data on current skill levels and training needs, and benchmarking, via four solutions - Capture, Upskill, Benchmark and Prediction.
The investment will be used to fund new hires, fine-tune product development and build the firm's client acquisition and retention strategy.
The company is online at www.eswapp.com .
