Kantar Promotes for Top Analytics Role
Kantar has promoted Chris Petranto to Global Head of Analytics, after sixteen years at the company. He replaces Gonzalo Fuentes who has moved to the role of COO of the group's Insights division.
Petranto is based in Boston Massachusetts, USA, and will lead teams responsible for supporting clients' digital transformation and decision-making via innovative analytics. He has more than two decades of analytics, marketing, consulting and general management experience, having earlier created and led in-house unit Millward Brown Analytics and overseeing the acquisition and integration of Analytics Quotient (AQ) into Kantar. Earlier still he was President of Marketing and Planning Systems (MaPS), the group's strategic research and analytic consulting arm.
Commenting on the appointment Ian Griffiths, Deputy CEO and CFO at Kantar said: 'Advanced analytics are crucial for marketing leaders as they seek to unlock the deeper consumer insights that can fuel growth. The Analytics Practice is a strategic priority for Kantar. Chris has been core to the development of our analytics capabilities, and I am delighted that he is stepping up to this global leadership role'.
