Batchelor and Russell Join Mission Translate Board

In the UK, translation and research service provider Mission Translate has added former Brainjuicer COO Alex Batchelor and former Market Research Society (MRS) Chairman Danny Russell as Board members, to advise on and assist with its global expansion.

The Birmingham-based firm provides tailored language services for the market research sector, backed by ISO quality-assured processes. Services include audio transcription; face-to-face, telephone and video conference interpreting; MR participant recruitment; multilingual content analysis; and multilingual social media listening.

Batchelor is currently Chair of behavioural research agency Watch Me Think, having previously spent more than seven years as COO of Brainjuicer (now known as System1 Group). Earlier he held senior roles at Tom Tom, Royal Mail and Orange; and he was MD of Interbrand's Brand Valuation team, having begun his career at Unilever, before joining Saatchi & Saatchi. In addition, he is a former Chair of the Marketing Society, a fellow of the Marketing Academy, and an active member of associations in the UK, Australia, South Africa and the US. Russell currently runs his own strategic consultancy, while also serving as a Non-Executive Director at Omnicom's ad and brand research firm Hall & Partners; and at 'human insight agency' Further. During his 27-year client-side career, Russell held senior insight and data roles at Boots, Kraft, British Airways, Sky, Flutter and O2. As well as being a previous Chair of the MRS (and now a fellow), he is a past Chair of clientside networking forum AURA.
