CX Platform ActiveCampaign Hires First CCO
In the US, customer experience (CX) automation platform ActiveCampaign has hired former Pinterest, Google and Confirmit exec Dutta Satadip as its first Chief Customer Officer (CCO).
ActiveCampaign's platform gives businesses access to hundreds of pre-built automations that combine e-mail marketing, marketing automation, CRM and machine learning for segmentation and personalization across social media, e-mail, messaging, chat and text. Satadip (pictured) joins from image-based social media site Pinterest, where he served as Global Head of Customer Success and Operations, responsible for driving customer satisfaction and retention, as well as building systems and processes to support growth. Prior to this he spent six years at Google, latterly as Director, Customer Success, Americas. Earlier in his career he was Director, Product Marketing & Management at research software firm Confirmit, and he was a senior manager at Hewlett-Packard.
In his newly created role, Satadip will be responsible for ensuring customer success for all 120,000 ActiveCampaign customers, with a focus on improving customer satisfaction, increasing engagement and strengthening support. Commenting on the appointment, founder and CEO Jason VandeBoom said: 'Dutta has spent his career focused on improving the customer experience, a passion we share. With his addition to our team, I am confident we will further enhance our customer engagement and support initiatives'.
