Kinetiq Launches Video Content Monitoring Solution
In the US, TV intelligence platform Kinetiq has launched a video monitoring solution for watermarked content, to track where, when, and how video content is displayed across digital platforms.
Philadelphia, PA-based Kinetiq was formed last year through the merger of social media analytics company 4C's TV, ad buying and measurement suite Teletrax and media intelligence and monitoring specialist iQ Media. Its platform measures paid, earned and owned TV media, providing marketers, technology partners and content owners with TV audience metrics and analytics in real time.
The new solution uses the Teletrax watermarking and fingerprinting technology to monitor and measure video content across digital and broadcast platforms in near real time. An imperceptible watermark is embedded into each piece of video content and then used to identify when and where the content is published. Using a web-based reporting tool, clients can monitor usage of their content within the publisher's video, measure engagement, and view the full video to provide context for how the content is being used.
Chief Product and Technology Officer Rishit Shah (pictured) comments: 'This expansion of our video monitoring capabilities allows news agencies, sports networks, and other content producers to track and measure their content on the fastest growing distribution channel in the world - digital. Our clients are already telling us that this new, holistic view of their video content usage and engagement across platforms is a game changer for their business models'.
