ABN Impact Rebranded as InSites Consulting Asia

Online communities specialist InSites Consulting has brought its seven offices in Asia under its own name, retiring that of ABN Impact, which it acquired a year ago.

InSites Consulting was established in 1997 and now employs more than 600 people across 17 offices - the seven Asian locations are Bangkok, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Manila, Seoul, Shanghai and Singapore. The firm is headquartered in Ghent, Belgium and generated revenue of around EUR 65m last year. ABN, which also focuses on communities, was founded in Hong Kong in 2009 and became part of InSites last December.

InSites Consulting CEO Kristof De Wulf comments: 'With a combined 30 years' expertise in digital insights, we are undoubtedly better together. Combined with our office in Australia, we now have a unified brand across Asia-Pacific, which not only our clients but also our employees can benefit from. I look forward to the day that we can celebrate this occasion in person with our colleagues, but for now we will continue to shape the future better, together, from a safe distance!'

MD Asia Maz Amirahmadi (pictured), formerly CEO of ABN Impact | InSites Consulting, says the acquisition 'could not have been better timed'. We're now excited to rebrand fully to InSites Consulting Asia, as which we will continue to expand our digital research capabilities and embed best practice across the region'.

In July, the group strengthened the Asian team by transferring Daniel Teixeira to Singapore for the role of MD.
