Breaking Blue Merged into 2CV
Two Cello Health-owned sister agencies, B2B specialist Breaking Blue Research and consumer specialist 2CV Research, are to merge under the latter's brand name.
Breaking Blue was formed in 2015 under the name Bright Blue Research, through the merger of four agencies: financial specialist Consensus Research, consumer researcher Leapfrog, public sector agency mruk and b2b-focused RS Consulting. Full-service boutique agency 2CV, which has additional offices in Los Angeles and Singapore, also offers a range of services from deep ethnographic immersion to advanced analytics.
As well as bringing extensive B2B expertise, Breaking Blue's team will add capabilities in behavioural science, advanced analytics and expertise in the transport sector. Both companies are part of Cello Health, recently acquired by Arsenal Capital Group.
Breaking Blue Director Phil Stubbington says 2CV's network of offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Singapore and London will offer a larger platform for his firm's expertise and reinforce its support for existing clients. Tim Blandford (pictured), 2CV's Global COO, adds: 'We have long admired Breaking Blue's research capabilities, especially their deep understanding of business-to-business audiences; their tools and skills will stretch across and enhance our existing four core specialisms in technology and entertainment, life and style, social and finance. We're excited to partner with Phil and the team, they fit perfectly with our digitally led full-service growth strategy'.
