CRM Firm Copper Buys Engagement Specialist Sherlock
In San Francisco, customer relationship management (CRM) specialist Copper has acquired engagement analytics platform Sherlock, for an undisclosed sum.
Sherlock tracks users' actions within apps, and converts them into a product engagement score which highlights a company's most (and least) engaged users. Also available at the account level to track multiple users, Sherlock can uncover which features are driving engagement, and whether engagement is increasing or decreasing.
Copper CEO Dennis Fois says Sherlock will be integrated into its platform to help clients identify the optimal moment to convert opportunities into sales. Derek Skaletsky, founder of Sherlock, who now serves as Head of Product Led Growth at Copper, adds: 'The intent signals and engagement scoring we are bringing to Copper will allow companies to become part of their buyers' journeys, rather than forcing an out-of-touch seller's journey upon the masses'.
