LatentView Hires Kompala to Lead Retail Sector Growth
In the US, predictive modeling specialist LatentView Analytics has appointed Bhava Kompala to lead the firm's growth and innovation in the retail sector.
LatentView's solutions aim to give a 360-degree view of the digital consumer, supporting machine learning and AI initiatives for purposes including revenue and product success forecasting, improved customer retention, and marketing / investment optimisation. The firm has more than 600 employees at its offices in Princeton, NJ; San Jose, California; London; Singapore; and Chennai, India.
Kompala (pictured) joins after a year running his own business Third Variable, helping consumer goods companies streamline processes using analytics to gain insights. Prior to this he worked at business processing and technology management firm Genpact, managing a portfolio of accounts across six global locations; and decision science and data analytics firm Mu Sigma as SVP, Client Services. Earlier he held director-level roles at software company CounterPath Corporation, mobile solutions provider Bridgeport Networks, and was Lead Software Engineer at Motorola.
In his new position, Kompala will help retail clients solve business problems using analytics solutions powered by data, maths and technology.
