Nielsen//NetRatings Appoints MD, EMEA
Nielsen//NetRatings has appointed David Day as MD for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
With a background in research and statistics, Day joined ACNielsen in 1997 as Head of Statistical Services and became Director of Operations for the UK in 1998. He joined Nielsen//NetRatings in 2000 as Director of Analytics - International, becoming Senior Vice President, Commercial in 2002.
Day considers the current climate 'very challenging' for the online industry: 'The market is continuously changing as innovations in technology and consumer behaviour effect the way brands market themselves. My role at Nielsen//NetRatings will be to ensure we meet the needs of our clients - by providing them with valuable insight into their businesses, whether through innovations in data solutions or the acquisition of companies such as RedSheriff'.
