Savanta Promotes and Hires for Americas Roles
Next15's data and insights group Savanta has promoted four and hired three new employees as part of its expansion in the US. The promotees include thinqonline co-founder Mark Martins, who is now Americas EVP as well as Asia Pacific General Manager.
Created in 2019, Savanta aims to combine the benefits of a smaller agency - deep specialist expertise and a tailored, client-first approach - with the resources of a larger organisation. The business provides access to 100 million respondents through a proprietary tech platform; bespoke research; intelligence products such as the BrandVue and MarketVue reputation tracking solutions; and a suite of tools called Savanta Essentials, promising a fast turnaround approach to help businesses research key issues and engage with consumers.
Martins (pictured) joined in Canada in 2018 as SVP Operations, having previously co-founded MR software and solutions firm thinqonline, acquired by Next15 in 2018. Earlier, he was Director of Operations, Americas at Research Now, having previously worked for Ipsos and Millward Brown (now part of Kantar). In addition, Marni Hirschorn, Kyle Gollins, and Eva Gott have been appointed SVP of Account Management, Commercial, and Research respectively, and as members of the Americas Executive Leadership Team, after working as Vice Presidents in similar capacities.
New joiners include Jeff McKenna as Senior Director in the Americas, following a career which included senior roles at Prophet, ORC International and Critical Mix. Katie Brown joins as Senior Director, Research, Insights & Consulting, from her previous position as VP, Insight & Strategy Activation at Ipsos; and recent graduate Nicolette Sheil joins as Marketing Executive with a BA in English Language and Literature from Davidson College, and after studying digital marketing at Columbia University in the City of New York.
