New Funds for Product and Concept Test Platform Cambri
Nordic-based automated product and concept testing platform Cambri has raised EUR 3.6m in a Series A round of funding, which it will use for global expansion. In addition, Lynda Clarizio, former President of Nielsen US Media, has joined the company's Board of Directors.
Founded in 2018 by Heli Holttinen, Outi Somervuori, and Dani Kamras, Cambri serves its international client base from offices in Helsinki, Finland; Stockholm, Sweden; and Almelo, the Netherlands. According to the company, it enables brands to validate, optimize and iterate early-phase product and service concepts ten times faster than traditional methods, through its digital SaaS platform and automated access to 100 million consumer panellists.
Clarizio joins the Board after a career which included leading the performance of Nielsen's Watch business in the US. Earlier, she was EVP for corporate development and operations at AppNexus and was CEO and President of INVISION. Earlier, she spent ten years at AOL in roles including President of the group's consolidated advertising businesses. She currently sits on a number of Boards, including mobile measurement and fraud prevention firm Adjust, CDW, Resonate, OpenSlate and Human Rights First.
Funding has been jointly led by OpenOcean and Spintop Ventures. Holttinen comments: 'As we scale internationally and further develop our product to serve our rapidly expanding customer base, the industry knowledge and experience we gain from OpenOcean, Spintop Ventures and Lynda Clarizio will enable us to move even faster and smarter.'
