ndp | analytics Names Director of Policy Strategy

In the US, economic and communication research firm ndp | analytics has appointed Daniel Ikenson as Director of Policy Strategy.

The Washington, DC-based firm advises businesses on the economic and social impacts of a wide-range of public policies, develops research-based advocacy programs, establishes industry benchmarks, and assesses the costs and benefits of major legislation and regulations.

Ikenson (pictured) joins with more than 30 years' experience in international trade and investment policy, and according to the company is a renowned authority on globalization, manufacturing, supply chains, technology, and the rules-based trading system. He spent over twenty years as a scholar at the Cato Institute, during which time he wrote dozens of studies and papers and provided expert testimony to Congressional committees, federal regulators and state agencies. Most recently, he served as Director of Cato's Herbert A. Stiefel Center for Trade Policy Studies, leading a team of attorneys, economists and political scientists conducting trade policy research.
