Callaghan Returns to Maru as Bus Dev Director
In the UK, long-time industry executive Neil Callaghan has re-joined tech-enabled MR and customer insights firm Maru Group in the role of Business Development Director.
The Group and its operating companies - Maru/Matchbox, Maru/Blue and Maru/HUB - combine expertise in System 1 (fast, instinctive, and emotional) and System 2 (slower, more deliberative and more logical) thinking, in order to deliver a 'complete understanding' of consumer decision making. Last month, the group launched a research solution called Brand Health Tracking, to deliver a 'holistic' view of brand performance at speed.
Callaghan (pictured) re-joins the group from online panel and community research consultancy Beehive Research, where he served as Business Development Director, and before this he worked for Canadian employee engagement tech start-up Nudge Rewards, as Director of Sales EMEA. He previously spent nearly five years as Head of Business Development at Maru/edr (now Maru/Matchbox). Earlier, he was Commercial Manager at Nielsen Retailer Direct Data Solutions, and UK Sales Manager of Nielsen's FMCG analytics unit Decisions Made Easy; an Account Director at IRI; and he worked for Entri Market Research and NOP Mystery Shopping, having begun his career at M&S.
