New Leader for Kantar Public Australia
In Sydney, Kantar Public has today announced the appointment of Kirsty Macmillan to head up its Australian business.
The division, launched in 2016 as a global operating brand pooling the group's expertise in the sector, provides evidence, insights and advisory services to help clients with public policy and programmes, and has Australian offices across six of the country's eight states - New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, ACT, South Australia and Western Australia.
Macmillan has spent the last fifteen years at Kantar, both in Australia and the UK, and worked most recently as Senior Director for the Insights division in Australia, leading a range of client accounts including a specific focus on government tourism brand and communications consultancy. She has already spent time in the Public division in the country, and says she is 'thrilled to re-join the team and embark on this new chapter'.
She starts her new role as Head of Kantar Public Australia this Thursday, 1st April, and will work with the firm's APAC Joint Leads Kathy O'Donoghue and Ash Moore. Moore comments: 'With her strong track record of delivering high-level communications advice and strategic consultancy to government, Kirsty is a welcome addition to lead our Australian business. Kirsty's leadership capabilities and ability to provide pragmatic advice to agencies and government will be invaluable, as well as the high regard that she is held in within the government tourism sector'.
