Accenture Buys Analytics Services Firm Core Compete
Professional services giant Accenture has acquired analytics provider Core Compete, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to help clients become data-driven enterprises. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Durham, North Carolina-based Core Compete, which also has offices in the UK and India, works with clients across the retail, financial services, manufacturing and logistics, and media sectors to help with their digital transformation programs and modernization of their analytics platforms.
Core Compete's team of more than 260 professionals will join Accenture's Applied Intelligence practice, to expand its capabilities in AI-driven supply chain, cloud, and data science. The buy follows those of Analytics8 in Australia, Pragsis Bidoop in Spain, Clarity Insights and End-to-End Analytics in North America, Mudano in the UK, Byte Prophecy in India, and Sentelis in France.
