Mobvista to Buy Chinese Mobile Measurement Firm Reyun
In China, mobile ad platform Mobvista is to acquire third-party mobile measurement and marketing tech firm Reyun for around 1.5 billion RMB (c.$232m).
Reyun provides data monitoring and campaign management services, analyzing data from more than 700 million active devices each month. Its suite of products and solutions includes Tracking IO, AdsDesk, Intelligent Ad Creative Analysis Platform, APPADHOC, Game Analysis and PERSEUS, which it offers to a wide range of clients. These include clients operating across mobile games, social media, networking, finance, eCommerce, education, live broadcasting, life services, utilities and mobile networks.
Reyun will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mobvista: Tony Bai will continue as CEO of Reyun, alongside a new role as SVP at Mobvista Group. Bai says the deal will enable the firm to build more data-fuelled solutions that meet customers' needs across the entire value chain and product life cycle.
Clement Cao (pictured), CEO and co-founder at Mobvista, adds: 'We're excited by the potential Reyun's SaaS products present, having a mature business model and a high degree of commercialization. Mobvista's acquisition and integration of Reyun and its products will greatly enrich our product matrix in the MarTech industry chain to strategically strengthen our foothold on the competitive Chinese market'.
