Rediffusion Opens Red Lab Consumer Research Division
In India, marcoms group Rediffusion Brand Solutions has launched a specialist consumer research and analysis division called Rediffusion Consumer Lab (Red Lab), offering market research, consumer understanding and trend spotting services.
The new unit will be led by Sandeep Goyal (pictured), the founder and current Chairman of marcoms group Mogae, which recently acquired the Rediffusion Group from partners Arun Nanda and Ajit Balakrishnan. Goyal most recently served as CEO of the Punjab CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Authority, and was previously Chairman of Dentsu in India, Group CEO of Zee Telefilms, and President of Rediffusion Y&R.
Nanda, Chairman of the Rediffusion Group, comments: 'I have always believed in the power of brands, and brand building is all about looking beyond the short term and focusing on the long term.
