QYOU Media Buys Influencer Marketing Firm Chtrbox
QYOU Media, which distributes content created by social media stars and digital content creators, has acquired India-based influencer marketing specialist Chtrbox for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2016 in Mumbai and Delhi, Chtrbox offers brands a diverse pool of more than 300,000 influencers, from celebrities and digital stars to micro influencers, 'mom bloggers' and campus-based creators. Client companies use the tool to discover and collaborate with influencers and fans of their brands.
According to QYOU Media, the deal will enhance its own influencer marketing capabilities in India, where it owns The Q India TV channel, generating nearly 100 million viewer impressions every week. In addition, the acquisition will see Chtrbox's data-driven approach rolled out to QYOU Media's US influencer marketing business.
