Dentsu Changes Boost Merkle Down Under
Dentsu Group is folding its Isobar subsidiary in Australia into two other divisions, BWM Dentsu and Merkle: the former will become BWM Isobar and take Isobar's creative staff, while the latter becomes the group's leading CXM brand in the region and welcomes its CX specialists.
The move is part of Dentsu Group's ongoing 'simplification' of its Australian capabilities base, but will not result in any job losses, according to news site www.mumbrella.com.au . Dentsu says it will now bring together data transformation, digital transformation and CX consulting under one banner.
According to Dentsu ANZ CEO Angela Tangas (pictured), quoted in Mumbrella, 'We have world-class talent in our local business, and we need to have our people and capabilities in the right place to deliver meaningful progress and outcomes for our clients to ensure there is no disconnect between what their brands promise and what a customer, community, or employee experiences'.
