Meierhoefer Joins VideoAmp in New CPO Role
In Los Angeles, TV software and data platform VideoAmp has appointed former Comscore COO Cameron Meierhoefer in the new role of Chief Product Officer.
VideoAmp's dataset commingles ACR and Set-Top Box data across 28m households and integrates it into multiple digital data sources - this sits alongside a comprehensive toolset for planning, measurement, optimization and attribution, within the VideoAmp platform. The company was founded in December 2014 by Ross McCray and Dave Gullo, as a single platform through which to buy, optimize and measure digital video ads across TV, mobile and desktop devices - and has grown organically and through acquisitions including IronGrid Data Services in 2018 and cross-channel attribution, measurement and analytics solutions firm Conversion Logic last year. It has raised several substantial rounds of funding including $75m last year from investment fund Capital IP.
Reporting directly to CEO and co-founder McCray, Meierhoefer (pictured) will lead efforts to deliver measurement, optimization and currency solutions for new and emerging TV platforms. He spent seventeen years at Comscore, latterly as COO and earlier as EVP Analytics, helping drive development of many of its measurement solutions. Most recently he spent two and a half years as CEO of wireless proximity services firm SignalFrame.
NcCray says of the hire: 'Cameron's track record and experience in creating currency solutions perfectly lines up with what we are looking to accomplish at VideoAmp. Our significant investment in product and technology will allow our clients to unlock even more value when it comes to their media investment. After decades of defaulting to a legacy monopoly, we are redefining the way media is transacted upon, enabling a more sophisticated and flexible advertising marketplace that benefits everyone'.
