Cint Names New Chief Human Resources Officer
In Stockholm, Sweden, sample management platform Cint has appointed Marie-Louise Howett as Chief Human Resources Officer, responsible for guiding the company's global people, culture and workplace strategies. She replaces Johanna Isander, who left the firm in April.
Founded in 1998 by former CEO Bo Mattsson, Cint now operates from fourteen global offices and its consumer network comprises more than 144 million respondents in more than 130 countries. In 2016, the firm was acquired by investment firm Nordic Capital for an undisclosed sum, and in February, it placed its initial public offering (IPO) on the Nasdaq Stockholm.
Howett (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' HR experience, leading global teams in the technology, industrial and pharmaceutical/MedTech sectors in roles across Europe, Asia and North America. Most recently she served as People, Culture and Communications Director at diagnostics services provider Unilabs, before which she held senior positions at Assa Abloy, Roche and GE.
In her new role, Howett will support the company's growth with employee and talent engagement initiatives, replacing Isander, who now works for Olink Proteomics as Chief People Officer. Commenting on Howett's appointment, CEO Tom Buehlmann said: 'Marie-Louise will be an integral part of Cint's growth, helping us continue to fulfill our vision for creating an engaging, diverse, inclusive culture, as well as driving the company's more traditional human resources functions'.
