Australian Launch and Hires for PureSpectrum
Sample marketplace PureSpectrum has added an Australian office, and appointed Anthony O'Brien to lead it as Vice President, ANZ. Daniel Soh also joins the firm in Singapore as Senior Account Director.
The move follows the opening in the Spring of an APAC headquarters in Singapore, led by MD James Rogers, a former Cint exec. O'Brien is also a former Cint employee, having worked as Sales Director for Cint Australia, and brings more than fifteen years of domain and customer experience.
Soh has more than ten years of experience working with clients across SEA for Kantar, GfK and Acorn, and will work closely with PureSpectrum's international and domestic lead accounts in Asia.
Launched as a sample marketplace in 2016, the firm last January announced PureScore, an advanced machine learning-driven respondent scoring system designed to block 'low-quality' respondents from taking surveys. This year has been a particularly busy one with the announcements of an integration with research tech specialist Lucid in March; and a $17m Series B round of funding the following month.
Rogers says of the latest appointments: 'The continued success of PureSpectrum stems from our talent density and relentless pursuit of quality and delivery. Having worked closely in the past, I know Anthony to be a leader who powerfully drives growth and industry partnerships. Demonstrating the PureSpectrum ethos, he was the top choice to join our sales leadership team'.
