Morning Consult Continues Expansion

In New York, consumer insights platform Morning Consult has added seven former Kantar executives and three from Ipsos to its Commercial team.

Co-founded in 2014, Morning Consult surveys tens of thousands of respondents across the globe every day, to assess what people think in real time, and determine how their decisions impact business, politics and the economy. The firm's survey research platform offers access to more than 100 million people globally, collecting more than 15,000 daily interviews nationally representative of populations in twelve countries. Last year, the firm raised $31m in a Series A round of funding, to which it has since added a series B round valuing it at more than $1bn, and continuing to fund its 'transformation of the market research industry'.

The firm has appointed four execs as Managing Director, Commercial: Jeffrey Kirchner, who joins after fourteen years at Kantar, latterly as Client Services Team Lead; Alexander Creed, who previously served as VP of Growth & Strategy; Cindy Hoffman, who most recently served as Global Account Director; and Erik Haroldson, who was Cross Portfolio Client Team Leader, SVP.

Other former Kantar hires include Tim Shoemaker and Sherry Dickerson as MDs, Client Services - previously a VP and an SVP respectively; and Landra Scherer, who joins as Senior Director, Client Services, after working as Director, Client Leadership, Media & Content.

Joining from Ipsos are Nicole Janossy as Senior Manager, Client Services, having previously worked as Research Manager, Online Communities for Ipsos SMX; Hannah Katz, Manager, Client Services, after serving as an Account Manager; and Rachel Copulsky as Director, Client Services, following time as an Account Manager.
