Malcolm Baker Retires
Research International has announced that Malcolm Baker, Global Director of Research International Qualitative, will be retiring on 31st August this year. Ivana Ventura, CEO of Research International in Italy will succeed him as Global Director of Research International Qualitatif.
Baker has worked at Research International since 2000 when he joined as Global Director of Research International Qualitatif. The paper he co-authored, 'Managing global brands to meet consumer expectations', won The Fernanda Monti Award for best paper and also the award for best case history at the 56th ESOMAR Congress in 2003.
He began his career in research with RBL and Food and Drink Research Ltd. in the UK. He moved to the US in 1974 when he joined McCann Erickson Advertising and worked for the agency in both San Francisco and New York. Returning to California in 1979, he founded The B/R/S/ Group, now one of the US's leading qualitative providers. When he retires from Research International he will be moving back to California.
