Growth Funds for Insight Sharing Platform Bloomfire

In the US, knowledge management platform Bloomfire has raised a 'significant' amount of equity funding, which it will use to accelerate company growth and product innovation.

Through Bloomfire's platform, teams can access their organization's collective intelligence, providing a centralized, searchable place to collect and find knowledge and insights.

The new funding comes from Primus Capital, which will partner with Bloomfire's management team to help drive the company's next phase of growth. As part of this recapitalization, Aaron Davis and Chandler Watlington of Primus Capital will join Bloomfire's Board of Directors, alongside Bloomfire CEO Mark Hammer (pictured).

Commenting on the investment, Hammer said: 'We intend to use this funding to advance our platform to push the boundaries of what an intelligent knowledge engagement platform can do for today's enterprise. By leveraging Primus' experience with great SaaS companies, we now have the opportunity to invest in the team and look for M&A opportunities to expand our footprint'.
