Change at the Top for Bastion Insights
In Australia, market research and customer experience consultancy Bastion Insights has hired Ali Dexter as co-Chief Executive Officer, leading the Melbourne office. As part of the announcement, founder Dianne Gardiner is stepping down from her CEO role to become an Executive Director.
Owned by marcoms group Bastion Collective, and previously known as Bastion Latitude, Bastion Insights focuses on understanding human behaviour to address business issues. In July, former Potentiate CEO Peter Harris joined the company as Chief Executive Officer in Sydney, and Dexter (pictured) now joins in Melbourne after four years at data and insights agency T Garage, where she served as Director of Insights and Strategy. Prior to that, she spent twelve and a half years in leadership roles at Kantar, and gained experience in Australia, Asia, the US and UK. In her new role, Dexter replaces Gardiner, who founded the business in 2007 after working at Blue Moon Research.
Bastion Insights' Global CEO Jack Watts comments: 'Now, more than ever, our clients are seeking a data and insights-led approach to all areas of their business. Bringing Ali on board, alongside the recent expansion of our Insights offering in Sydney and LA, will allow us to offer our clients world-class insights with local implementation'.
