Podcast Analyst Backtracks Gets IAB Tech Lab Approval
US-based podcast data analytics specialist Backtracks has received certification by non-profit research, development and standard-setting consortium IAB Tech Lab.
Backtracks provides a platform for end-to-end podcast management, advertising and analytics. Advertisers and publishers can use this to gather insights into listener engagement during ad play, including the percentage of ad completes. To achieve the accreditation, Backtracks was audited for compliance with the IAB Tech Lab's official podcast measurement technical guidelines.
Following the certification, the Backtracks platform is now podcast measurement compliant for analytics, advertising metrics and measurement. Jonathan Gill, the company's founder and CEO, comments: 'The IAB Tech Lab certification ensures that brands and publishers are privy to the same actionable data points and a shared source of truth.
