Ireland's RED C Acquired by Business Post Group

In Ireland, RED C Research has been acquired for an undisclosed sum by one of its clients, the Business Post Group.

Dublin-based RED C, which was founded in 2003 by former Lansdowne Market Research executives Richard Colwell and Sinéad Mooney, offers quant and qual projects to a wide range of clients, while also running monthly polls for the Sunday Business Post. In 2016, the firm opened a UK office, in Soho, London, as a joint venture between the agency and former Future Thinking MDs Richard Barton and Charlotte Butterworth.

RED C will now join the Business Post Group, alongside the latter's news title and its events and conference company, iQest and Business Post Live. The agency will act as a lead company in the group's Data and Insight division and will also work with other businesses in both the Business Post Content and Business Post Experiences divisions. RED C will continue to operate as an independent company within the group, under the existing management team led by Colwell and Mooney, and Richard Barton and Charlotte Butterworth, the UK Joint MDs.
