Le Manh Leaves Ipsos: New CEO NA Appointed
Pierre Le Manh, Ipsos' CEO in North America, has left the company to pursue 'other opportunities', and been replaced by former Gartner exec Lorenzo Larini.
Larini, a native of Tuscany, brings more than twenty years' experience from the technology information industry, nearly seven of them at Gartner where he combined the roles of Leader of the North American Consulting business and global SVP Executive Programs, providing tools and insights to CIOs and their teams. Now based in Ipsos' New York office, he has worked in Italy and the UK, and prior to Gartner worked in product management and software engineering.
Ipsos co-founder and Chairman of the Board Didier Truchot comments: 'We are excited to welcome Lorenzo to Ipsos. He brings a wealth of experience in the research and advisory fields leveraging data and technology to drive business performance. His vast experience partnering with clients to help them stay ahead of the unrelenting changes of technology and markets is a unique asset to the company'.
DRNO understands that Le Manh decided to leave at the same time as Truchot stepped back from the global CEO role - but will stay involved in the research industry, although his exact plans are not known at this time. He joined the company as Chairman and CEO of Ipsos Europe in October 2004, and was appointed to the Board in 2009 - he has held the role of North American CEO for eight and a half years. Earlier he worked at Accenture, entertainment copyright specialist Adami (as CFO), publisher Encyclopaedia Universalis, and marketing database firm Consodata where he was global CEO.
