Movement Data Analyst mCube Renamed Movella

US-based mCube, which senses, captures and analyzes all types of movement data with a focus on the entertainment, sports, health and industrial sectors, has been renamed Movella. The change reflects the integration of two recent buys.

Movella will provide hardware, software and data analytics services, combining the expertise of mCube and two of its recent acquisitions, motion sensors provider Xsens and health data management specialist Kinduct.

The company says its new brand encapsulates the value and technologies from the three brands. CEO Ben Lee comments 'With our history and our new mission in mind, we are now working on uniting all our expertise together to unleash the true power of movement. As one, we are much stronger than the previous separate companies which accelerates our innovation and growth momentum'.
