Funds for Decision Intelligence Engine Sisu
In San Francisco, 'decision intelligence' engine Sisu has raised $62m in a Series C round of funding, which it will use to continue expanding operations and business reach. The firm has also launched two new capabilities to support data-informed decision-making: Explorations and Dashboards.
Sisu helps organizations analyze their data and use it to make decisions relating to operations, profitability and business success. The new Explorations solution can be used to examine and visualize metrics, without requiring code; while Dashboards allows users to view explorations, track metric changes, and share key data drivers with colleagues.
New funding has been led by Green Bay Ventures, with participation from existing investors a16z and NEA, and new investor Geodesic Capital, and bringing the total raised to $128m. Sisu CEO and founder Peter Bailis (pictured) comments: 'This financing in combination with the launch of Explorations and Dashboards allows us to further our goal of redefining how business decisions are made. Today, businesses have massive amounts of complex data, but not enough time, people, or the right tools to analyze it - that's the massive problem Sisu is working to solve'.
