Access Intelligence Adds Global Data Head

Marketing tech group Access Intelligence Plc has appointed Jay Krall as Global VP of Data, and Lisa Gilbert as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Access Intelligence Adds Global Data HeadThe AIM-listed company helps marketers anticipate, react and adapt to what's important to customers and stakeholders, with technology used by 6,000 global organisations. Subsidiariies include Pulsar, Isentia, Vuelio and ResponseSource; and the group raised $13.5m in December last year, to fund ambitious growth plans.

Krall will head up the data organisation, executing the group's mission, shaping strategy, overseeing and strengthening new and existing data partnerships, and building enhanced governance controls that protect data access. Before joining, he was Chief Product Officer for Socialgist, leading compliance and partner certification for Reddit and Quora's data programmes; and earlier he was product owner for Facebook's first commercial data product, Topic Data, and led research and partnership teams at Zignal Labs and Cision.

Gilbert has spent 25 years at IBM in roles including VP of Marketing, Growth Markets, based in Shanghai and leading 300 staff across China, APAC, Latin America and EMEA. She also served as CMO of IBM Japan, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at IBM UK and Ireland and VP, Marketing Transformation at IBM North America. She is currently VP of Brand Sponsorship & Content at Kyndra, an IBM company. As an NED at Access she will help drive global growth and strengthen the brand's position in its next phase of evolution.
