Clients Fund Broadband Data Firm OpenVault
OpenVault, which provides data and insights on worldwide broadband consumption patterns, has received an undisclosed amount of funding from three clients. Funds will be used to fuel company growth both domestically and internationally, specifically in Europe and Latin America.
The firm's solutions and tools help service providers optimize network performance, increase revenue and improve subscriber satisfaction. OpenVault then aggregates and analyzes the resulting market data to provide a view of consumer usage that can be used to anticipate residential and business broadband trends.
The 'significant' funding round has come from existing clients - Service Electric Cablevision, Service Electric Cable TV & Communications, and Blue Ridge Communications. Mark Trudeau (pictured), CEO and co-founder of OpenVault, comments: 'The Service Electric companies and Blue Ridge share a vision of the connected future and their collaborative approach to working with technology companies is helping to spur innovation that is driving the broadband industry forward. Their investment will bring a new dimension to our long-term partnership, and we're excited to use the funds to expand our reach and accelerate our growth'.
