South African Buy for Synovate
Synovate has announced that it has acquired Proactive Insight, one of the top three research companies in South Africa.
Proactive has more than 350 employees and offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, West Rand, Port Elizabeth and Pretoria. Its sector expertise includes automotive, financial services, media, energy, telecoms, manufacturing and IT.
Synovate CEO Adrian Chedore says his company has used Proactive Insight to conduct projects in Southern Africa for many global clients over the years. 'This acquisition expands Synovate's global reach into Southern Africa, complementing our existing operations in North and West Africa', says Chedore, adding that 'Proactive Insight's robust automotive capabilities will increase our weight in that key sector'.
