Former Geopath President Kym Frank Joins Intermx
In the US, former Geopath President Kym Frank has joined location data platform provider Intermx in the newly created role of Global Chief Experience Officer (CxO).
Powered by geospatial technology authorities, data scientists, engineers, and experts in UX, Intermx delivers human mobility insights through its data platform, providing historical, real-time, normative, and predictive information about population movement. The firm currently focuses on the out-of-home (OOH) ad industry in the US, but also on travel and tourism, retail visitation, real estate, city planning, and agency solutions.
Frank (pictured) joins after six years as President of non-profit OOH audience measurement body Geopath, from which she resigned in May following what MediaPost magazine described as a 'series of unusually aggressive actions' from the Out of Home Advertising Association of America. During her time with Geopath, she led the organization through a full rebrand, launched a new measurement system, and tripled the membership. Earlier in her career, Frank was SVP, Client Solutions at cross-platform measurement specialist Symphony Advanced Media, and she held insights positions at ZenithOptimedia, FTI Consulting (previously Financial Dynamics), and CBS Television Distribution.
In her new role, Frank will help expand the Intermx product footprint into new industry verticals, geographies, and media channels. Commenting on the appointment, co-founder Ryan Kinskey said: 'Kym Frank is an absolute powerhouse. I have had the pleasure of working with Kym over the past six years. She has an unmatched eye for crafting a vision and voice, and Kym's in-depth knowledge of media research across all channels is a huge asset to recognizing our full potential.'
