South African Office and Hires for Verve
Community panels pioneer Verve is opening a Centre of Research Excellence (CoRE) next month in Johannesburg, South Africa, and has appointed Heather Tluczek and Meryl Dovey to lead it, as MD and Head of New Business Development respectively.
The firm says Verve Africa will build a high performing research team, working as an integral part of its client account teams in Europe and North America, as well as with its multi-national African client base as it grows. The team will work on major global accounts such as Samsung, Amazon, Walgreens Boots Alliance, John Lewis Partnership and Gartner; and will adopt flexible and hybrid working allowing staff to balance home life with in-person support at the 'Hub'.
Verve is seeking further staff for the office and says it aims to provide 'the very best market research career opportunities in South Africa'.
Founder and CEO Andrew Cooper comments: 'Heather and Meryl are two brilliant researchers, but equally importantly are absolutely natural expressions of the Verve culture - it was impossible for us not to want to work together and set out on this exciting journey to build something exceptional'.
