Hahn Public Buys Data Science Firm Statistical Vision
In the US, marcoms agency Hahn Public has acquired data science and analytics firm Statistical Vision, for an undisclosed sum. The latter company has now been renamed Hahn Stats.
Founded in 2014 by Dirk Van Slyke and Michael Griebe (pictured), Houston, Texas-based Statistical Vision combines mathematical and data-based techniques with branding and marketing strategy - acting as a third-party marketing department, while also offering its own advanced data services to supplement marketing departments' existing capabilities. The firm also creates custom tools and integrations.
Hahn Public says the acquisition will support clients with predictive business forecasting tools, while expanding the business to a 48-person agency with revenues of more than $10m annually. Griebe adds: 'Our clients come to us drowning in data - sales transactions, marketing information, commodity prices, import and export data, demographics, weather forecasts, etc. We build predictive analytic models to answer specific questions and to point our clients towards revenue growth'.
