Accenture to Buy Japanese CX Firm Tambourine
Professional services giant Accenture has agreed to acquire Japan-based eCommerce customer experience (CX) agency Tambourine, for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2015, Tambourine provides commerce services on the Salesforce platform, delivering CX design and engineering, developing web services and applications, and offering consultancy. Its team of approximately 70 CX specialists, designers and cloud engineers will now join Accenture Interactive in Japan.
Atsushi Egawa (pictured), Accenture's Market Unit Lead for Japan, comments: 'Digital customer experience and brand reputation is so closely intertwined that it can impact a company's growth. In considering ways to deliver the best of commerce experiences, brands are turning to data and the cloud for leverage. By weaving in Tambourine's unique offerings into Accenture's, we will continue to help accelerate our clients' growth'.
Earlier this week, Accenture acquired innovation strategy consultancy Founders Intelligence, which taps insights from technology entrepreneurs and investors to help large corporations grow.
