Four Senior Hires for Morning Consult

Washington DC-based consumer insights platform Morning Consult has announced new appointments including former Moody's exec Stephanie Leavitt as Managing Director of Communications.

Morning Consult, which also has offices in New York, Chicago and San Francisco, surveys respondents across the globe every day to assess what people think in real time, and determine how their decisions impact business, politics and the economy. Last month, the company expanded its daily tracking survey on brands, economic conditions and geopolitical risk from fifteen to more than 40 countries.

Leavitt (pictured) joins after nearly seven years at bond credit rating business Moody's Investors Service, latterly as VP of Global Communications. Prior to this she worked for global PR agency Hill+Knowlton Strategies as VP, Corporation Communications, and business comms consultancy Public Strategies Inc. as Director / Chief of Staff; and earlier, she worked for the Texas Democratic Party. In her new role, she will promote the firm's data-driven analysis, reporting to Olivia Petersen, VP & Head of Communications.

In addition, Joan Russell-Kelly and Wendy Swiggett join from Kantar as Managing Director, Commercial and Assistant Vice President, Client Services respectively; and Rahul Choudaha has been named Managing Director, Client Services, Higher Education, having recently been Director, Research Communications & Insights at the Graduate Management Admission Council.
