IDG Buys B2B Intent Specialist LeadSift

Technology publisher and B2B intelligence and targeting firm IDG Communications has announced the acquisition of Canada-based B2B sales and marketing intelligence platform LeadSift.

Kumaran RamanathanAcquired by investment giant Blackstone six months ago for $1.3 billion, IDG is the publisher of tech industry standards such as Computerworld, CSO, Macworld and PCWorld, and has already in the last eighteen months acquired and integrated account-based marketing platform Triblio and data intelligence solution KickFire.

LeadSift uses proprietary AI and data mining technology to extract insights for B2B marketers from millions of data points across the web, delivering a daily digest of data on intent-to-buy and allowing B2B marketers to create appropriate messaging and targeting.
