Kantar Public Hires Global Panels Director

Kantar Public has hired long-time YouGov exec Tom Burgess for the newly created role of Global Panels Director, supporting its probability-based citizen panel, PUBLIC Voice.

The panel, which provides governments and policymakers with access to the public (including off-line and hard-to-reach individuals), is currently available in eighteen European countries, as well as Kenya and Nigeria, with plans to roll out further throughout 2022. Burgess re-joins the Kantar group after more than fourteen years at YouGov, where he latterly served as Global Director of Panel Delivery. Earlier, he was Panel Technical Lead for Kantar's Worldpanel Division.

In his new role, Burgess is tasked with defining and implementing the roadmap for PUBLIC Voice, and growing its scale, propositions and data capabilities.
