Seed Funds for eCommerce Analyst Trellis
In Canada, eCommerce analytics specialist Trellis has raised $1.5m in a seed funding round, which it will use to continue development of new eCommerce platform integrations.
Founded in 2019, Trellis provides retail brands with a cross-channel eCommerce advertising management solution that uses shopper data to continuously learn from historical performance data and deliver the most relevant campaigns. The firm works with consumer brands selling on global platforms, including Amazon and Google Shopping, and its dashboard delivers up-to-date reports on relevant keywords, impressions, sales, clicks, ad sales, and ad spend.
Seed funding was led by Sentiero Ventures with participation from existing investors and other angel investors, and adding to the more than $1m raised in a pre-seed funding round last year. Fahim Sheikh (pictured), CEO of Trellis, comments: 'Sentiero approached our relationship with a tremendous amount of enthusiasm and background knowledge in the eCommerce and digital marketing spaces.
