DISQO Hires David Squellati as General Counsel
Consumer insights platform DISQO has hired former Red Bull Global Head of Intellectual Property David Squellati as General Counsel, leading the firm's legal department.
Los Angeles-based DISQO delivers a 'complete view' of the consumer journey through technology built on first-party research from millions of engaged consumers, who choose to share their attitudes and behavior. Squellati (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' experience spent advising technology and consumer brands on intellectual property, international privacy regulation compliance, complex commercial agreements, risk management and product development. Most recently he worked for video conferencing company Blue Jeans Network (acquired by Verizon), where he built a legal practice and developed internal processes to support the company's business goals. Before this he held positions with JAKKS Pacific, BeachBody and Red Bull, having begun his legal career as an Associate at Fenwick and West.
In his new role, Squellati will work with teams across the organization to help ensure that DISQO's platform is developed and scaled internationally with appropriate legal guidance. He reports to co-founder and CEO Armen Adjemian, who comments: 'To support the business, we are building a world-class legal team that holds transparency as a guiding principle. Dave shares our vision and will be the legal counselor and business partner we need with our teams, clients, and partners'.
