Former Statista Leader Takes CEO Role at Onclusive
STG's newly formed media monitoring and measurement business Onclusive has appointed Manuel Moerbach as Chief Executive Officer.
The company was created last month when tech investor Symphony Technology Group (STG) acquired Kantar's Reputation Intelligence business, and merged it with US-based analytics expert Onclusive and media relations platform PRgloo. The combined unit offers global media monitoring, measurement and workflow management for PR and communications.
Moerbach (pictured) started his career in publishing at Axel Springer SE and then at Jahr Top Special Verlag, then in 2009 joined a five-person market and consumer data start-up, Statista. In a dozen years at the firm, Moerbach oversaw its growth to more than 1,200 employees, adding businesses in the USA and Southeast Asia to its European base. Based in New York City since 2014, he will now move to London to start his new role.
STG MD J.T. Treadwell says of the hire: 'We are thrilled to have Manuel join our team. His excellent, highly successful experience leading the global growth expansion of Statista is a terrific analog for the ambitions we have with the new Onclusive, and we look forward to building this platform together with him and the rest of the Onclusive leadership team'.
