Firefish Hires Sustainability Leader

Insight consultancy Firefish has appointed former Kantar / The Futures Company exec Lloyd Burdett as Head of Futures & Sustainability, based in its London HQ.

The group launched as a qual agency in London in 2000, then added quant division TheNumbersLab a decade later. It also owns a kids and family specialist, The Pineapple Lounge, and an in-house insight films specialist, Firefilms.

Burdett (pictured) joins from Kantar Consulting where he served as Global Head of the group's Futures and Innovation Practice. Prior to that, he was Head of Global Clients and Strategy at The Futures Company, and he spent eight years in the government's Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) as Head of Strategy & Delivery. During his career, Burdett also spent more than a decade working with Unilever on strategy and sustainability.
