PriceSpider Buys eCommerce Enhancement Specialist Hatch
Consumer and digital shelf analytics technology firm PriceSpider has acquired Amsterdam-based MarTech company Hatch, which helps clients enhance their eCommerce capabilities. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Hatch connects brands with retailers (both online and in-store), allowing consumers to purchase products through every touchpoint, while providing detailed insights into the entire customer journey. The company's real-time dashboard also delivers insight into product and retailer performance, while providing reports on purchase intent. In addition, the firm's 'Shoppable Reviews' offer aggregated global product ratings and scores for retailers' product portfolios, and giving them a real-time view of the market and the ability to observe customer feedback on products.
PriceSpider says the acquisition will help brands better understand consumer buying patterns to optimize digital touchpoints globally. The latest deal adds to PriceSpider's 2019 takeover of pricing data specialist ORIS Intelligence, whose platform delivered near real-time analytics into pricing inconsistencies and unauthorized sellers across online channels.
